Welcome to the Thomas Ralling Chapter.
We are a reasonably sized Chapter that meets at Loughton in the Province of Essex.
In pre ancient Freemasonry there are four Ceremonies:
- Entered Apprentice
- Fellow Craft
- Master Mason
- Royal Arch
The Royal Arch, or Chapter, completes a Freemason’s journey, and all Freemason should join, or at least plan to join, the Royal Arch to experience the journey. The Royal Arch and Craft are moving closer together and it is now considered as “One Journey, One Organisation”.
The Chapter is “attached” to the Thomas Ralling Lodge and was Founded in 1907, 13 years after the Lodge was Founded.
The Chapter is “fed” from a number of Lodges, particularly those in the Family Tree (including this West Essex Meridian), and this enables meetings to be vibrant, diverse and enlightening.
Currently we meet on Fridays in January (2nd), March (1st), and October (3rd), and usually start at 5:00pm and dine around 7:00pm. The January meeting is the Installation meeting.
